All excellent points - as control of what to pay attention to is more and more governed by the recipient, we as marketers need to do a much better job of delivering content that people actually want to receive. Like you mentioned in your article on the most powerful spam filter being the mind of the recipient, creating engaging, valuable content that is delivered to the right person at the right time is more important than almost any other approach.

Measuring it becomes an interesting challenge though, as these "emotional unsubscribes" can be more difficult to detect and understand than an explicit unsubscribe.

can you suggest some good tool for making my email survey online? I tried askitonline, monkeysurvey and then www.cafesurvey.com which I thought was the best. please compare site that doesnt cost money only!
