Terrific article. Most of my days are spent presenting email and social media best practices as an Authorized Local Expert for Constant Contact and my own marketing company. I'm amazed how many folks are baffled by email... and yet use it every day. Sort of like driving... you don't have to know exactly how everything works in the car and engine, you just need to know how to steer (strategy), hit the gas (hit send) and hit the break (know how frequently you can send). It's not that hard.
